First, you should download MailWash and mailwash32.ico if you have not already done so. For this example, they were saved or moved to the directory C:\Program Files\Mailwash.
Download the shortcut mailwash.url if you have not already done so. Save or move it to your desktop.
You will now have a shortcut to MailWash on your desktop. You can also drag the icon to the Quick Launch part of the taskbar, to the Start button, or on the Start button and up into the Programs or Favorites shortcuts. You can even delete the shortcut on the desktop without deleting the other places you dragged the shortcut to.
If you use a different location for the files, open mailwash.url with any text editor and change the directories. The contents of the file are as follows:
